Programmer Notes is a note-taking app for developers. This policy describes what it collects, why, and how to get rid of it. It is short because the app does little with your data.
That is the whole list. There is no analytics, no advertising SDK, no tracking, no location, no contacts, no device identifiers, and no third-party service receiving your data.
Data is held in MongoDB Atlas, a managed database service. All traffic between the app and the server uses HTTPS; the app is built so it cannot make an unencrypted request at all.
Your notes are visible only to your account. Every query is scoped to your user id, so one account cannot read another's notes.
Nothing. Your data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties. The only external service involved is the email provider used to deliver password-reset codes to your own address.
You can delete your account and every note in it from inside the app: Account → Delete account. It is immediate and permanent.
See Delete your account for the full steps, including how to ask by email if you no longer have the app installed.
Programmer Notes is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
